Awning Cleaning

Service Details

Florida weather can be hard on your awnings and coverings. We recommend cleaning your awning regularly and, depending on the type, sealing it. The life expectancy of awnings and shades are typically lower than a homeownere or business operator realizes so without proper maintenance the elements can take there toll much quicker than you realize. Sunfire cleans awnings of all sizes and shapes and in hard to reach areas. We clean vinyl, fabric, sunbrella and metal awnings and shades. We offer free estimates so give us a call today.

Found Sunfire on Yelp while looking for someone to clean awnings.  Ours were so bad that we considered just replacing, but thought we should at least try to clean them.  It was amazing how well Sunfire cleaned the awnings.  They look practically new.  Appreciated their process of cleaning while taking care not to damage landscaping.  In addition to awnings, had Sunfire pressure wash house, sidewalks and driveway.  Everything looks great!  Highly recommend.

Prepare for a Visit

When preparing for our visit please move any objects from under the awnings, including tables and chairs, vases or even furniture that you would feel most comfortable moving yourself. We can move furniture when necessary. Please let us know if there are any unusual objects that need to be worked around, for instance if the awning is hanging above water.
If there are any special circumstances or concerns that you may want us to note please do not hesitate to bring this to our attention upon arrival. We know every property is different and requires being flexible. We will always do our best to accommodate!

Awning Cleaning FAQs

Have a question about our window cleaning service? Below are some frequently asked questions.
How long will the service take?
Residential:
The duration a cleaning visit takes depends on the amount and condition of your awnings. Of course if your project is larger we may assign additional workers to make sure our visit takes no more than one day.

Commercial:
The duration depends on the size, quantity and condition of the glass, therefore durations vary greatly.
Is the estimate i was given going to change?
If your estimate was given by an on-site estimator the price will not change unless additional services are requested. Commercial estimates are given exclusively in person.
If your estimate was received over the phone the price may change if the information you supplied the estimator was not perfectly accurate. Typically prices given over the phone are based on photos and are very accurate howevr prices over the phone are often quoted a bit high to account for the unknown. Typically therefore if the price does change it is usually reduced.
Who is coming out to my home?
Great question! When someone is coming out to work in your home you can expect only regular employees to visit you rather than subcontractors or day workers. Our employee list does not change often so you are likely to see the same faces on every visit.
Can you restore the look of our older awning or shade?
As a rule we do not perform work on worn or torn awnings. If your covering looks ugly or discolored it does not necessarily mean it is too far gone, on the other hand, though an awning may be cleanable it may no longer be usable as a functional covering for rain or sun protection. For example, fabric awnings that do not have holes may still leak water if they have thinned, and all older awnings may be hiding the bad condition of their framework. Frames may eventually fill with unseen rust that even a mild cleaning can release.
Should i leave a tip?
Our workers do not expect tips but they do appreciate them. All of our workers are great and they are paid accordingly. If you are wondering if tipping is the norm the answer is, as always, up to you.
